Hello…

…and welcome here! I am a surface pattern designer, illustrator and artist working across digital and traditional art mediums.

I am an avid sketcher and doodler, always with a sketchbook and trusty art tools on hand. I have a passion for creating bold hand-drawn art work to create patterns and designs for all surfaces as well as full illustrations by individual commission. Please check out my body of work on this site.

I work digitally to bring my hand drawn and painted artwork to surfaces like fabric, wallpaper, home and lifestyle products, sometimes creating work digitally too in programmes like Adobe Illustrator, Procreate and Adobe Photoshop.

I’d describe my main style as bold with strong line work and colour, but in truth most artists have more than one style and we are usually very adaptable! My inspiration comes from nature - both flora and fauna, the worldwide patterns of the past and present as well as my favourite inspiration eras; Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts. In truth, I find inspiration everywhere, including the geometry and shapes of everyday life.

In summary, my aim is to bring together strong line work and vibrant, colour and an innate attention to detail to create distinctive art and designs that deserve a space in the world.
